for a cure. . .

nothing says october more than this morning's crisp autumn air. it made me stop for a second and put a wish out there for dry, cool weather this saturday—not so much for game day, but for the 26.2 miles so many will be walking across southeastern connecticut in support of finding a cure for breast cancer.

so in an effort to raise awareness, throughout october we will be highlighting those who are making a difference for a cure. . .today we begin in support of the terri brodeur breast cancer foundation

yoga in bloom has raised in part over $1800 for the terri brodeur breast cancer foundation with its |yoga for a cause| initiative. founder, stefanie patterson, will be one of those walkers on saturday and we are sending well wishes and fair skies. stay tuned for their next |yoga for a cause| initiative which will support the emancipation network.

the entire month of october the white dress by the shore is donating 10% percentage of all gown sales to the terri brodeur breast cancer foundation in celebration of love and life. how amazing to know part of your wedding gown purchase goes to fund research grants. this lovely boutique is by appointment tuesday-saturday at 104 east main street 860.669.4596.

and trish and i donate design time to the terri brodeur breast cancer foundation in honor of their pledge to direct 100% of fundraising dollars to research. you can see the tshirt design we created for saturday's walk below.

no doubt there are so many more who do the same.

so please write us and tell us what you are doing. we'll post your links on our blog throughout the month of october in the hopes of raising awareness of your efforts to help find a cure.
